All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Santa Fe National Cemetery--Santa Fe NM Amarillo Globe News 3 Dec 1997 Ralph Brantner STRATFORD - Ralph Brantner, 72, formerly of Stratford, died Friday, Nov. 28, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Church of Christ in Stratford with Fred Riley Jr., minister of the Church of Christ in Texhoma, Okla., and Jon Heatwole, minister of the Church of Christ in Stratford, officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. (MST) Friday in Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Brantner was born in Redmud, Kent County. He was a longtime resident of the Stratford and Panhandle areas. He had been a resident of Goodwell, Okla., since August. He was a cowboy and a member of the Church of Christ in Texhoma. He served with the Navy during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Brantner; two daughters, Rebecca Leonard of New Ulm, Minn., and Charylene Smith of Keyes, Okla.; his mother, Marie Brantner of Spur; three sisters, Irene Lemley of Houston, Doris Maness of Conway, Ark., and Joyce Wooten of Mexia; a brother, Ronnie Brantner of Hohenwald, Tenn.; two stepsons, Marty Butler of Westbrook, Va., and Judd Butler of Stratford; two grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren. The family will be at 520 N. Fulton in Stratford.
