Darrel Brune

GUYMON, Okla. - Darrel Brune, 46, a lifelong Optima resident, died Friday,
March 28, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church
with Mark Wescoatt, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst
Cemetery by HensonNovak Funeral Directors.

Mr. Brune was born in Guymon. He was raised on the Brune home place near
Optima and later became involved in the family farming operation. He also
was employed at the Guymon Livestock Auction for more than 14 years.

He was an active member of the Texas County Sheriff's Posse. He was a
member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Brune of Optima; two sisters, Myrtle
Costner of Guymon and Karen Stewart of Optima; a brother, Ervin Brune of
Guymon; and a grandmother, Edna Behne of Guymon.

A Darrel Brune Memorial has been established for Cal Farley's Boys Ranch,
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or Southwest Hospice. Memorials will
be accepted at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon,
Okla. 73942.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to
11 a.m. Monday.
