Duane L. Boren

GUYMON, Okla. - Duane L. Boren, 66, died Saturday, October 24, 1998.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with Chris 
Trent, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-
Roberts Funeral Home.

Mr. Boren was born and raised in Perryton, Texas. After graduation from 
Perryton High School in 1950, he served in the Air Force. He moved to 
Guymon in 1954. He retired in 1996 as chief of police. He was a 32nd 
degree Mason.

He married Peggy Sharon Davis in 1964 at Clayton, N.M.

Survivors include; his wife; his stepmother, Irene Boren of Guymon; a 
sister, Donna Davis of Perryton; and three brothers, Darrel Gene Cook of 
Albuquerque, N.M., Glen Boren of Corpus Christi and Jeff Boren of Moore, 
Okla.

The family requests memorials be to Guymon Police Department c/o 
BunchRoberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
