Brewer, 81, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Elmhurst Cemetery with Randall Ator, minister of Plum Creek Fellowship in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Brewer was born May 20, 1922, in Liberal, Kan. He served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include two nieces, Loveda Boothby of Norman and Ann Jones of Amarillo; four nephews, Jack Reust of Dumas, Texas, Wardell Reust of Amarillo, Curtis Reust of Lakeland, Fla., and Tommy Reust of Hugoton, Kan.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. The family suggests memorials be to the VA Nursing Home and may be sent to the funeral home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
