Shirley Irene Castor

GUYMON, Okla. - Shirley Irene Castor, 58, a former Gruver, Texas, 
resident, died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church at 
Gruver with the Rev. Gary Gumfory, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in 
Gruver Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Castor was born in Guymon and raised in Gruver. She attended Gruver 
schools. She married Jimmy R. Castor in 1958 at Guymon. They made their 
home in Gruver until 1991 when they moved to Guymon. She was a member of 
First Christian Church at Gruver.

She was preceded in death by an infant son.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kelly Rose Keenan of Guymon; 
three sons, Russ Castor of Guymon, Kirt Castor and Kent Castor, both of 
Fort Worth; two sisters, Georgie Parker of Fort Worth and Bonnie Gross of 
Saginaw, Texas; two brothers, Kenny Bratton of Gruver and Virgil Bratton 
of Lubbock, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to a Shirley Castor Memorial Fund, which 
has been established for the First Christian Church at Gruver. Memorials 
will be accepted at the church or funeral home.
