All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Amarillo Globe News 28 & 29 Mar 1998 Billy Gene Clubb Sr. GUYMON, Okla. - Billy Gene "Bill" Clubb Sr., 52, died Thursday, March 26, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of Christ with Scott Smith and Gerald Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by HensonNovak Funeral Directors. Mr. Clubb was born in Wellington, Texas. He graduated from Wellington High School with the class of 1964. He married Mary Katherine Connor in 1965 at Quail, Texas. They lived in Hedley, Texas, where they were involved in cotton farming for many years before moving to Spearman, Texas, in 1986. In 1989, they made their home in Guymon, where Mr. Clubb was a fieldsman for Collingwood Grain. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debbie Martin of Guymon and Michelle Martinez of Goodwell; a son, Billy Gene Clubb Jr. of Plains, Kan.; his mother, Betty Stephens of Midwest City; four sisters, Wanda Deen of Lelia Lake, Texas, Patsy Clubb and Kim Baskey Field, both of Oklahoma City, and Dyna Lucas of Florida; three brothers, Eddie Wayne Clubb and Jimmy Ray Clubb, both of Norman, and Todd McGee of Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren. A Bill Clubb memorial has been established for the Oklahoma Transplant Institution.
