Colburn, Cheyenne were held Tuesday, July 12, 1966 at 10:30 a.m. in thed First Methodist Church with John Paul King officiating. Mr. Colburn was born November 26, 1898 at Cheyenne and died July 9, 1966 and was a World War II veteran. He was married to Bea Lile in Guymon, OK. Survivors include his wife, Bea of Cheyenne; three daughters, Mrs. R.N. (Volleen) Nikkel, Oklahoma City, Mrs. W.L. (Clistia) Boone of Pauls Valley, Mrs. W.H. (Betty) Rogers of Gulf Port, Missouri and two sons, J.A. Colburn, Wichita Falls, Texas, Billy Joe Colburn, Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildredn and four great grandchildren. Pall bearers were Glen Williams, Billy Farris, Frank Trammell, Carl Shaw, Dick Cobb, Bill Dykes. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
