All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Elmhurst Cemetery--Guymon OK Donald Neal Corbin.texas GUYMON, Okla. - Donald Neal Corbin, 60, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Armstrong of the Guymon Nazarene Church officiating. Burial will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Corbin was born in Wolf and moved with his family in 1941 to Guymon. He attended school in Guymon, graduating in 1957. He entered active duty with the Navy in 1957, serving until 1961. He re-enlisted in the Navy in 1963 and served during the Vietnam War. While in the Navy, he served aboard the USS Coral Sea, USS Ticonderoga and USS Savage. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Guymon and attended Panhandle State University. For a while, he worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He married Leocadia "Leah" Jala in 1989 in the Philippines. Survivors include his wife; a son, Carridine Corbin of Guymon; his father, Bill Corbin of Beaver; and a sister, Billye Hininger of Guymon. The family requests memorials be to the Guymon Home Health and Hospice. Memorials will be accepted at BunchRoberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
