Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel at Guymon with the Rev. Billy Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Carver was born in Guymon. He was raised in Hooker where he attended school. He participated in Boy Scouts and Youth Group Boxing. He attended a Baptist church and was in the 47th Division of the Army National Guard at Liberal, Kan. He was a truck driver, driving for several different companies. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Courtney of Hooker; two sons, Wesley James Carver and Raymond Walter Carver, both of Oklahoma City; a brother, James Willies Carver of Guymon; a stepbrother, Billy J. Courtney of Guymon; sisters, Alzan Sharp and Ronda Carver, both of Hooker, Lisa Brungardt of Liberal, Michiell Hyer of Guymon and Melinda Nicewonder of Ithaca, Mich.; and grandmothers, Florene Blythe of Guymon and Martha Wagner of Merkel, Texas.
