Cordell Corder

HOOKER, Okla. - Cordell Corder, 53, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the Church of Christ with Neville 
Buchanan and Evan Eggleston officiating. Burial will be in the Hooker 
Cemetery by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Corder was born at Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, Tenn. He married 
Bonnie Sue Gann in 1966. They moved to Guymon in 1975 where he worked for 
Hitch No. 1, retiring in 1998. They moved to Hooker in 1991. His wife died 
in 1993.

He attended the Guymon Baptist Temple while living in Guymon and the 
Hooker Church of Christ while living in Hooker.

In 1994, he married Nelda "Nell" Acker.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Corder of Stillwater, Okla.; two 
daughters, Paula Taylor of Hooker and Carrie Wells of Guymon; three 
brothers, Jerry Corder and Billy Ray Corder, both of California and Dean 
Corder of Tennessee; two sisters, Diane Vossberg of California and 
Patricia Dykes of Alabama; and four grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and 
Affiliates c/o Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
