Crawford MUSKOGEE Kenneth R. Crawford, 82, of Muskogee, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. Kenneth was born on May 28, 1924, in Hooker, to Dennis R. and Mollie Lou (Fisher) Crawford. Kenneth spent four years in the United States Navy during World War II, finishing with an honorable discharge. He traveled all 50 states. He also enjoyed making trips on his motorcycle. One such trip took him to Alaska at the age of 73. Kenneth enjoyed camping and fishing. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his special friend for over 23 years Charlotte Miller. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jewel Irene Crawford; son, Bruce Duane Crawford; and daughter, Vera Bookless Wood-Crawford. He is survived by his grandson Bruce Crawford and his wife Tina of Dallas; grandson, Joshua Crawford; son-in-law Ron Wood of Oktaha; grandsons, Tony Bookless of Colorado; Brian Bookless of Jenks, and Kenny Bookless of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Hunter Crawford, Gavin Crawford, Jasmine Crawford, Tiarney Elizabeth Bookless, Brody Allen Bookless and Jewel Anne Bookless; and many life long friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Fosters' Ivory Chapel with Masonic rites presented by the Muskogee Masonic Lodge. Local services will be Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel in Guymon with the Rev. Barry Bennett, associate pastor of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Military graveside rites will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.
