Viola Dickerson

GUYMON, Okla. - Viola Dickerson, 82, a former Guymon resident, died 
Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, in Pueblo, Colo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Church of Christ with Gerald 
Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak 
Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Dickerson was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and moved with her family 
to Guymon in 1953. She moved to Pueblo in 1994.

She had been an elementary school teacher in Guymon schools for more than 
20 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dickerson, in 1961.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Kersey of Colorado City, Colo.; a son, 
Richard Warren Dickerson of Pueblo; two grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.
