Beulah Claris DeMeritt

TEXHOMA - Beulah Claris DeMeritt, 90, died Saturday, April 12, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Texhoma Cemetery with Terry 
Davidson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by 
DawsonWelch Funeral Home.

Mrs. DeMeritt was born in Matador. She married Allen DeMeritt in 1931 at 
Arnett, Okla. They lived in El Paso for 25 years before moving to Texhoma 
in 1978. She had lived at Dunaway Manor Nursing Home in Guymon, Okla., for 
the past four years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983 and a son, George, in 
1993.

Survivors include three granddaughters, Allene Snow of Seabrook, Christi 
Walker of Sulphur, Okla., and Monica Burkham of Denton; nine great-
grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
