::Memorial Gardens Cemetery--Wellington TX

Hershel Francis

DUMAS - Hershel Francis, 80, of Texhoma, Okla., died Thursday, Nov. 25, 
1999.

Graveside services will be at noon today in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in 
Wellington with family officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral 
Directors in Dumas.

Mr. Francis was born in Mangum, Okla., and had been a Texhoma resident for 
35 years. During World War II, he was a pilot with the Army Air Corps. He 
was employed as an aerial sprayer.

He married Patsy Francis in 1968 at Clayton, N.M. He was preceded in death 
by a son, Larry Francis.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carolyn Francis of Midlothian; a 
son, Gary Francis of Houston; two stepdaughters, Debbie Alexander of 
Mangum and Linda Smith of Lubbock; a stepson, Billy Cole of Dumas; and 
three grandchildren.
