Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Hooker with the Rev. Ron D. Mimms and the Rev. Steve Unruh officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker. Mrs. Goss was born in Domby. She attended nearby Adams schools and married John Goss Jr. after graduating Adams High School. She then attended Panhandle A&M College in Goodwell. She and her husband moved to Berkeley, Calif., for one year but returned from California to pastor Hardesty Baptist Church for two years. They then ministered four churches before moving to Adams in 1981, where they pastored the Adams Baptist Church. Mrs. Goss worked 16 years as a bus driver and a substitute teacher at Hooker public schools. She was a member of Adams Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jack Goss of Perryton, Texas; three daughters, Debbie Ivy of Aurora, Colo.; Donna Landes of Amarillo; and Dorla Harris of Perryton; a sister, Kay McPherson of Aurora; a brother, Ken Johnston of Florida; and eight grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Gideons or the Leukemia Society and may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745 Hooker, OK 73945.
