Evalyn L. Goodwin

TULIA - Evalyn L. Goodwin, 82, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Methodist Church with the Rev. 
Charles Davenport, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial 
will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goodwin was born and raised in Bristow, Okla., and attended school 
there. She graduated from Borger High School in 1933. She married Robert 
"Bob" Goodwin in 1933 at Guymon, Okla.

She lived in Phillips, Pampa and Dalhart before moving to Tulia in 1950.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She also was 
active in the United Study Club.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Gloria Bryan of Tulia; three 
sons, Robert "Bob" Charles Goodwin of McAllen, William "Bill" E. Goodwin 
of Plano and John E. Goodwin of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and eight 
greatgrandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to a church nursery or the Tulia Day 
Nursery storm shelter fund.
