J.B. Gamble

GUYMON, Okla. - J.B. Gamble, 73, died Thursday, April 3, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Grace Southern Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Jimmy Pitson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the 
Elmhurst Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home.

Mr. Gamble was born in Sparta, Tenn. At the age of 2, his family moved to 
the Chickasha area. He attended school at Dibble.

He married Wilma Lee James in 1956 at Hobart. They moved to Guymon from 
Chickasha in 1968.

He retired in 1983 as a mechanic with Adam's Hardfacing. Following his 
retirement, he owned and operated Gamble Lawn Mower Repair. He attended 
the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rodney Dale Gamble of Texas, and 
Terry Lynn Gamble of Guymon; a daughter, Pamela Kay Darby of Fort Worth, 
Texas; three sisters, Georgie Mills of Alex, Maggie Blackman of Mineola, 
Texas, and Margie Lush of Chickasha; a brother, Gene Gamble of Yukon; and 
seven grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the American Heart Association. 
Memorials will be accepted at the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, 
Okla., 73942.
