Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating. Private burial of cremains will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mr. Girard was born in Chicago, and moved to Guymon in 1976 from Beaver, Okla. He graduated from Phelps High School at Malvern, Pa. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He married Charlotte Blain in 1995 at Red River, N.M. Survivors include his wife; four children, Sheri Frazier of Hastings, Minn., Donald Girard of Grove, Okla., Michael J. Girard of Guymon, and Dana Girard of Kemp, Texas; two stepchildren, Marlene Bosco of Houston and Mark Brosius of Honey Brook, Pa.; a sister, Shelagh Chope of Zionsville, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
