Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Henson-Novak Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Delbert Carter officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Hays was born in the Eva community. She attended country schools and Guymon High School, graduating in 1952. She was employed by Guymon schools for 28 years, retiring in 1994. She married Leslie Hays in 1952 at Guymon. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Linda Suzanne Lane of Mustang, Cynthia Dianne Ogden of Perryton, Texas, and Cheryl Anne Brooks of Guymon; a son, Leslie Deane Hays of Guymon; a sister, Mary Ann Johnson of Loveland, Ohio; a brother, Carroll Deane Beaman of Amarillo; and 12 grandchildren. A Kay Hays memorial has been established for Cal Farley's Boys Ranch or favorite charity. Memorials will be accepted at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
