All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Amarillo Globe News 13 Dec 1996 Anetta Yvonne Hintergardt GUYMON, Okla. - Anetta Yvonne Hintergardt, 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sunset Lane Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Riddles officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Mrs. Hintergardt was born in Vici. She attended school at Woodward until 1946, when she moved to Guymon with her family. She also attended school in Guymon. She was a waitress at local cafes and also worked at the old Guymon Laundry. She worked in the bakery at the Ideal Food Store before working at Dunaway Manor. She worked at the manor from 1982 until retiring in 1988. She married A.G. "Red" Hintergardt in 1962 at Hooker. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a son, Kenny. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Tarver of Guymon and Julia Brown of Woodward; five sons, Johnny Smith of Victoria, Texas, Bill Smith, Jim Smith, and Floyd Hintergardt, all of Guymon, and George Hintergardt of Fairfax; four sisters, Pauline Rainwater of Guymon, Viola Porter and Gracie Castor, both of Woodward, and Pat Pits of Garden City, Kan.; and 15 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the family.
