Toni Hamilton

TEXHOMA, Okla. - Toni Hamilton, 66, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ with Fred 
Riley, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery by 
Dawson-Welch Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hamilton was born in Cordova, Ala., and moved to Texhoma when she was 
16. She taught second grade in the Texhoma Grade School for 25 years. She 
was a member of the Oklahoma Teachers Association, the Texas County 
Retired Teachers Association and the Church of Christ.

She married Bob Hamilton in 1948 at Dalhart, Texas.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Christie Callaway and Carol 
Coble, both of Texhoma; a son, Bobby Hamilton of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, 
Nada Beck of Dumas, Texas; a brother, Gene Swindle of Birmingham, Ala.; 
eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life 
Enrichment Center in Amarillo. Memorials will be accepted at the funeral 
home.
