Rex Lee Jones

GUYMON, Okla. - Rex Lee Jones, 76, died Monday, June 29, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Grace Southern Baptist Church with 
Don Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-
Roberts Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones was born in Jayton, Texas. He graduated from Lefors High School 
in 1941 and attended Texas Tech University. He was an Army veteran of 
World War II.

Mr. Jones moved to Guymon from Pampa in 1962. He retired in 1981 after 36 
years of service from Phillips Petroleum. With his wife, he was a charter 
member of Grace Southern Baptist Church.

He married Delma Clara Rickman in 1947 at Lefors.

Survivors include his wife; three children, B.K. Jones of Dallas, Janet 
Bouton of Clovis, N.M., and Gary Pierce of San Francisco; a sister, Lorene 
Cliett of Twin Fall, Idaho; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

The family requests memorials be to Harrington Cancer Center or the Grace 
Southern Baptist Church. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch-Roberts 
Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Okla., 73942.
