All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Marion Ray Johnson TEXHOMA, Okla. - Marion Ray "Skip" Johnson, 55, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1220 N. Quinn, Guymon. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Guymon with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma, Texas Cemetery by Dawson-Welch Funeral Home of Texhoma. Mr. Johnson was born and raised in Texhoma where he graduated from high school. From 1961 until 1964, he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Pacific Bell in California and returned to Texhoma in 1996. He married Patricia Coryell in 1966 at Hawthorne, Calif. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Emily M. Christensen of Lakewood, Calif., and Jennifer J. Johnson of Van Nuys, Calif.; two sons, Charles M. Johnson of Wilmington, Calif., and George N. Johnson of Texhoma; his father, George Johnson of Texhoma; three sisters, Linda Joye Schreiner of Texhoma, Mary Jo Bankston of Stratford and Dedira Ann Loosemore of Texhoma; two brothers, Walter Herman Johnson of Altus and Francis DePaul Johnson of Purcell; and five grandchildren.
