All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Hooker Cemetery--Hooker OK Minnie Henrietta Johnson GUYMON, Okla. - Minnie Henrietta Johnson, 96, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, in Liberal, Kan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough, Okla., with Pastor Gary Shryock officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home of Hooker. Mrs. Johnson was born in Leavenworth, Kan., and in 1910, moved with her family to the homestead north of Guymon. She was a member of the United Mine Workers and the Home Builders Club and attended the Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough. She married Arlow E. Johnson in 1926 at Guymon. He died in 1963. Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Ivie of rural Guymon; a sister, Pear Bilger of Hurst; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Morning Star United Methodist Church; or a favorite charity. Memorials will be accepted at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
