Alice and her husband, Johnny Klassen, moved from Adams to S. California in 1935 and to Phoenix, Ore. in 1949, where they owned and operated "Johnny's Garage" until retiring in Jacksonville in 1986. Alice resided at "The New Dawn Foster Care" for the last two years. She is survived by her brother, Pete Goosen of Fairview, Okla.; half-sister, Elizabeth Campen of Diamond, Okla.; daughters, Florence Mae Gardner and family of Upland, Calif. and Rosalie Russ and family of Sandy, Ore. Alice was a long-time Phoenix Garden Club member. Alice and Johnny's main interests were traveling, hunting and fishing. No services will be held.
