All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Henry Kromer DALHART - Henry "Hank" Kromer, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home. Mr. Kromer was born in Texoma, Okla., and was raised in the Texas Panhandle. He attended schools in White Deer and Pampa and moved to Dalhart in the early 1940s. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a truck driver for Phillip's Petroleum for more than 30 years. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department for more than 32 years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He married Helen Kibby in 1983 in Dalhart. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Jack Stewart. Survivors include his wife; three stepchildren, Terry Kibby and June Kibby, both of Dalhart, and Patricia Hammons of Crowley; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will be at 803 Rock Island.
