::Elmhurst Cemetery--Guymon OK

Barbara Joyce Lavake

GUYMON, Okla. - Barbara Joyce Lavake, 73, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 
2004, in Truth or Consequences, N.M.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Henson-Novak Funeral Directors 
Chapel with the Rev. Terry Armstong, pastor of Guymon Church of the 
Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Mrs. Lavake was born to Emma Myers Conger and T. Floyd Conger on Nov. 
1, 1931, in Eva. She married Howard Lavake on Aug. 20, 1952, in 
Clayton, N.M.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Glenda Hill and 
Carolyn Johnson, both of Guymon, and Rhonda Purvine of Gruver, Texas; 
a sister, Arletta Shores of Eva; two brothers, Charles Conger of 
Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Dennis Conger of Andover Kan.; six 
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association 
and may be sent to the funeral home.
