All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Glen Robert Lile GUYMON, Okla. - Glen Robert Lile, 82, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church with the Revs. Don Chase, pastor, and Bob Miller, pastor of South Georgia Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Lile was born in and attended schools in Guymon. He served with the Army during World War II, returned to Guymon and married Vera Long in 1946. After 30 years, he retired from MichiganWisconsin Natural Gas. His wife died in 1983. He married Ila Ralstin Dow in 1983. She died in 1987. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ward Lile. Mr. Lile was a member of First Christian Church, the Odd Fellow Lodge, No. 51, Rebekah Lodge No. 241 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Emily Brown in 1995 at Guymon. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jay E. Lile of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Jeanie Stephens of Guymon; two stepsons, DeWayne Brown of Hardesty and Billy A. Brown of San Antonio; two sisters, Helen McCellan of Friona, Texas, and Mary Love of Guymon; a grandchild; 11 step- grandchildren; 25 step-great-grandchildren; and five step-great-great- grandchildren. A Glen Lile Memorial has been established for Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and will be accepted at Henson-Novak Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
