All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Marjorie Lane HARDESTY, Okla. - Marjorie Lane, 69, died Monday, July 12, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hardesty School Auditorium with the Rev. Don Calvert, the Rev. Eldon Moelling and the Rev. Tomisene Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the Hartville Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mrs. Lane was born in Enid and graduated from Covington High School in 1947. For 12 years, she owned and operated Travelers Cafe in Hardesty. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Texas County Cattle Women's Association, was a County Fair Coordinator and was a charter member of the Hardesty Homemakers Club. She married Wesley Eugene Lane in 1947 at Covington. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Lane. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Loretta Morris of Dallas, Texas, and Debbie Reimer of Perryton, Texas; two sisters, Velma Surrett of Hominy and Nina Phares of El Dorado, Kan.; two brothers, Cecil S. Elliott of Hardesty and Alvin C. Elliott of Stillwater; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. The family suggests memorials be to Hardesty United Methodist Church; they will be accepted at the funeral home.
