All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Will Everet Larson GUYMON, Okla. - Will Everet Larson, 90, died Wednesday, March 11, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Wiggin officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Larson was born in Little Robe. He worked as a cowboy in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. He joined the Army in 1942 and served in the Army Corps of Engineers in England, France and Germany. After returning from the service, he and a partner bought a rock crusher and built roads in Texas. After moving to Guymon, he purchased and operated the Yucca Motel. Later, he worked as a janitor and maintenance man at OPSU at Goodwell. He retired at the age of 80. Mr. Larson married Nell Kerr Harper in 1962 at Raton, N.M. She preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by a stepson, Jack Kerr. Survivors include a daughter, Jackie of Guymon; a sister, Enla Fae Wheller of Canadian, Texas; a brother, Frank Larson of Belen, N.M.; and four grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Affiliates c/o Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Okla. 73942.
