Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Victory Family Church in Perryton with the Rev. Lance Wood of Miami officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in Bryans Corner, Okla., by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mr. Lanier was a member of Victory Family Church of Perryton. He was a longtime Bryans Corner and Perryton area resident. He was a truck driver who had driven four million miles. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; six sons, Douglas Arthur Lanier of Turpin, Okla., Earl Wayne Lanier Jr. of Houston, Mikel O'Kelen Lanier of Venus, Robert Gordon Lanier of Dallas, and Neal Malone and Rick Malone, both of Miami; four daughters, Belinda Joyce Richardson of Mesquite, Angelia Gail Tole of North Richland Hills, Darla Kay Niehay of Watauga and Christie Stribling of Miami; a brother, Bill Lanier of Bruceville-Eddy; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Children of the Heart in care of Betty Bailey, 14869 S.W. 158th Terrace St., Rose Hill, KS 67133.
