Loretta Murphy

OPTIMA, Okla. - Loretta Murphy, 79, died Monday, April 6, 1998, in 
Liberal, Kan.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cundiff Cemetery in the 
Zeigler and Royalton areas of Illinois by Vantrease Funeral Homes Inc. 
Local arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.


Mrs. Murphy was born in Osage, Ill. She attended Six Mile Township School, 
near Osage. She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She married Paul L. Murphy in 1967 at New Madrid, Mo. They moved to the 
Optima/Guymon area in 1983 from Macus, Colo.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lloyd Hale and Jesse Moyer, and 
an infant.

Survivors include her husband, Paul; a son, Lloyd Hale of Mulkeytown, 
Ill.; a daughter, Joyce Sanders of Elizabethtown, Ill.; a stepson, Melvin 
Murphy of Guymon; two sisters, Ruth Schblowsky of Royalton, Ill., and 
Imogene Short of Mulkeytown; four grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.
