Prayer vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Peter's with the Rev. Charles Murphy, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Kenneth Hien of Canyon City, Colo., assisting. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Masse was born in Redondo Beach, Calif. The Masse family moved to Guymon in 1976. He graduated from Guymon High School in 1991. He graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy in May. He had been the pharmacy manager at Wal-Mart in Guymon since graduation. He was a member of St. Peter's. Survivors include his parents, Don and Judy Masse of Guymon; a sister, Susan Newman of Guymon; a brother, Brian Masse of Guymon; and his grandparents, Robert and Edith Birdsill of Guymon, and Joan Totaro of Redondo Beach. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. A Donald Masse Memorial has been established for the SWOSU Pharmacy Foundation to be used for pharmacy scholarships.
