Moser DUMAS - Robert H. Moser, 83, died Friday, June 20, 1997. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Father Richard Scully of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Dumas, and the Rev. Scott Willingham, minister of First Baptist Church, officiating. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Patrick Carathers of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Follett Cemetery. Mr. Moser was born in Wellington. He had been a resident of Dumas since 1949. He was a graduate of Howard Payne University in Brownwood and Western State University in Gunnison, Colo. He taught history for the Dumas Independent School District for 32 years. In the late 1930s and 1940s, he taught school and coached in Follett, Morris, Gruver, Turpin, Okla., and Adams, Okla. He was a member of the Texas State Teacher Association and also a member of the Retired Teacher Association. He was a longstanding member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church. He married Pauline Dennis in 1938 at Follett. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis Moser of Kingwood, and Michael Moser of Houston; a daughter, Esther Bayless of Austin; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79176-0001; The American Heart Association, 2404 W.
