All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Agnes Gwendolyn Miller GUYMON, Okla. - Agnes Gwendolyn Miller, 92, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Gruver First Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Gumfory, pastor, officiating. Cremains will be buried in Gruver Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942. Mrs. Miller was born in Wellington, Kan., and moved to Guymon in September from Abilene, Texas. She had been a longtime resident of Gruver. She was a homemaker, an active member and Sunday school teacher of First Christian Church. She served the city of Gruver for several years as a librarian. She married Henry Armstrong in 1926. He died in 1971. She married Dee W. Miller in 1975 at Gruver. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Coleen Prew, and a stepdaughter, Jerilynn Gardner. Survivors include her husband; a sister, Fern Gwinup of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, Vance Armstrong of Abilene, Texas, and Mark Armstrong of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Margie Childress and Beverly Farnsworth, both of Abilene; a stepson, Denton Miller of Fort Worth; four stepdaughters, Carol Scroggs of Guymon, Lola Fannie of Assumption, Ill., Cathy Hamit of Lindsay, Okla., and Debbie Walker of Guymon; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Feed the Children or a favorite charity c/o Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
