Edna Irene Miller

GUYMON, Okla. - Edna Irene Miller, 69, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Church of the Nazarene 
with Terry Armstrong, pastor, and the Rev. Jimmy Pitson of Grace Southern 
Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral 
Home.

Mrs. Miller was born in Stroud, Okla. She married Samuel Henry Strong in 
1953. They lived and farmed in the Weskan, Kan., area. Mr. Strong died in 
1971.

She moved to Guymon in 1975 and married Gary Miller in 1976. They 
continued to live in Guymon.

Mrs. Miller was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Martha's Circle 
and Casting Crew and the Guymon Lions Club. She was a former member of 
Good Sam's Camping Club.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Sam Strong of Optima; a daughter, 
Mary Howell of Guymon; her mother, Ora "Fern'' Walker of Guymon; two 
brothers, Marvin Rainwater of Drumright and Arthur Rainwater of Wheeling, 
W.Va.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family requests memorials be to the Gideon Bible Society. Memorials 
will be accepted at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, Box 1112, Guymon, Okla. 
73942.
