All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Mustang Cemetery--Mustang OK Mendenhall, Steven Vaughn Steven Vaughn Mendenhall, age 47, joined the Lord and his Mom in Heaven on May 18, 2003. He was born in Kiowa, KS on October 28, 1955. He was a graduate of Hooker High School, Hooker, OK and served two years in the US Army in Germany. His early adult years he worked for Oil Field Tool until the bust in the 80's, then worked in Heat and Air/Maintenance until May of 2001. He fought the good fight of faith against Leukemia for the last 12 months. He will be missed here on earth but we find comfort knowing he is with the Lord. He is survived by his dad Dean Mendenhall of Whitesboro, TX and Grandma Beulah Fields of Guymon, OK. Children, Misty and Kristie Mendenhall both of OKC, Nick Mendenhall of Duncan, McKenzie Boykin- Mendenhall, Matthew Mendenhall and Ashton Mendenhall all of OKC. Grandchildren Devin and Anycia of OKC, three brothers, Ron of Honolulu, HI, Doug of Whitesboro, TX, Shawn of Tulsa, OK, six sisters Sheri of OKC, Tammy of Eufaula, OK, Leisa, Jeri, Beth and Carla all of Yukon, OK and Carrie of Carrollton, TX. Also by nineteen nephews and nieces, three great nephews and nieces and numerous other relatives and friends that loved him. Celebration of his life will be held in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service at 10AM on Wednesday May 21, 2003 with interment following in Mustang Cemetery. A special thanks to the Nashville, TN VA Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant team that tried everything to get him well enough for a transplant, although unsuccessful. Also special thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice for making his last days here on earth the way he wanted it. The family appreciates you!
