Marie Charon Morton

GUYMON - Marie Charon Morton, 89, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, in North 
Richland Hills.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sunset Lane Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Lloyd Riddles, pastor, and the Rev. Terry Davidson, pastor of Texhoma 
Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-
Roberts Funeral Home.

Mrs. Morton married E. Byron Morton in 1933. They lived south of Guymon 
from 1945 to 1964, and in Texhoma until 1997 when she moved back to 
Guymon.

Survivors include a son, Donald Morton of Espanola, N.M.; a daughter, 
Carol Tipps of North Richland Hills; a brother, Joe Charon of Long Beach, 
Calif.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Sunset Lane Baptist Church or Texhoma 
First Baptist Church in care of Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 112, 
Guymon, OK 73942.
