Osborn TEXHOMA - Sharon M. Osborn, 58, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Texhoma First Christian Church with Mike Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery by Dawson-Welch Funeral Home. Mrs. Osborn was born Sept. 12, 1945, in Guymon, Okla. She married Bill L. Osborn on July 21, 1961. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Sherri Sladek and Sheryl Allen, both of Stratford, and Carol Martin and Shelly Turner, both of Texhoma; her mother, May Ellen Turpen of Texhoma; a brother, Ronnie Turpen of Lefors; two sisters, Darlene Baxter of Rawlins, Wyo., and Leta Rustin of Vallejo, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. She graduated from Texhoma High School in 1963. She was a florist for more than 15 years. She was a very creative person who appreciated beauty in nature and in gardening and growing flowers. She raised four daughters and was very busy with their various school activities. She lived in Texhoma all her life and was a member of Texhoma First Christian Church. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Sherri Sladek and husband, Rex, and Sheryl Allen and husband, Ted, all of Stratford, and Carol Martin and husband, Todd, and Shelly Turner, all of Texhoma; her mother, May Ellen Turpen of Texhoma; a brother, Ronnie Turpen of Lefors; two sisters, Darlene Baxter of Rawlins, Wyo., and Leta Rustin of Vallejo, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
