Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clark Williams and the Rev. Donna Johnston officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Dalhart Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart with Dr. Richard Bales, Big Spring district supervisor, officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Putnam was born Sept. 9, 1911, in Range, Okla., to Harley and Kittie Rose Grimm. She married Thomas Roach Putnam on Aug. 11, 1928 in Guymon. She was a nurse's aide for 15 years at Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart. She had been a resident of Canyon since 1992. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was active in Crusaders Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; and three sisters, Marie Weatherford, Elsie Feese and Katheryn Lee Anderson. Survivors include a daughter, Noreen Bales of Big Spring; two sons, Thomas Putnam of El Paso, and Julian Putnam of Amarillo; a sister, Iris Wilkinson of Boise City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
