::Ochiltree Cemetery--Perryton TX

Mabel Cagle Powell

PERRYTON - Mabel Cagle Powell, 85, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by 
Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Powell was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Liberal, Kan., and was a lifetime 
resident of the Perryton area. She graduated from Hardesty High School. 
She married Jesse Vance Powell on Oct. 5, 1940, in Guymon, Okla. She 
retired from North Plains Electric Co-op in 1982. She was a devoted Pink 
Lady with Ochiltree Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of First Baptist 
Church of Perryton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Phelps Cagle; and 
a brother, Elmer Joe Cagle.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jim Powell and wife, Cynthia, of 
Perryton and Mike Powell and wife, Susie, of Dallas; a brother, Charles 
Cagle of Perrytojn; two sisters, Isabell Mote of Los Obos, Calif., and 
Naomi Koerner of San Diego; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to Ochiltree General Hospital Auxiliary, 
3101 Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070.
