Leona Laura Pauls

HOOKER, Okla. - Leona Laura Pauls, 85, died Monday, June 16, 1997, at 
Liberal, Kan.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Mennonite Brethren Church of Adams 
with the Rev. Steve Unruh officiating. Burial will be in Mennonite 
Brethren Cemetery near Adams by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pauls was born southeast of Hooker and was raised and attended school 
in the Fairview County area.

She married Pete George Pauls in 1930 at Hooker. They lived and farmed in 
the Adams and Hooker area until 1984 when they moved into Hooker.

Mrs. Pauls was a member of Mennonite Brethren Church in Adams.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Harold Pauls of Belleville, Kan., 
and Jerry Pauls of Beaver; two sisters, Orlene Peck of Longview, Wash., 
and Vera Edwards of Chowchilla, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-
grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Mennonite Brethren Church of Adams c/o 
Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Okla. 73945.
