Bonnie Mae Proffitt

GUYMON, Okla. - Bonnie Mae Proffitt, 88, died Sunday, April 20, 1997.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Sunset Lane Baptist Church with Lloyd 
Riddles pastor officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by 
Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home.

Mrs. Proffitt was born in Woods County, near Alba, Texas. She married 
James Ancil Proffitt in 1926 at Jones County, Texas. They moved to Guymon 
from Stinnett, Texas, in 1946.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a housekeeper for the Dr. W.D. 
McMurry family for more than 30 years. She was a charter member of Sunset 
Lane Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School class.

She was preceded in death by an infant son and a daughter, Ida Lou Wells.

Survivors include her husband; and two sisters, Eunice Blackwell of 
Borger, Texas, and Irene Steinkuehler of Guymon.
