Pracht, 70, died Sunday, July 25, 1999. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Chaffin, pastor of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Pracht was born in Anthony, Kan., and was raised in Wakita. He graduated from Gore High School at Gore. He married Aloma Lee Rapp in 1952 at Enid. They lived in San Diego, Calif. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. After his discharge, they moved to Wichita, Kan., where he worked for Boeing Aircraft. They moved to Guymon in 1955. He retired from Adam's Hardfacing in 1989 after more than 40 years. He was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. He coached baseball and was instrumental in the building of several baseball fields in Guymon. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Pracht. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jacque Hyer of Guymon; two sons, Steven Pracht of Lindsay and Rodney Pracht of Claremore; a brother, Lewis Pracht of Denver; and four grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the American Parkinson's Disease Association or the Claremore Veteran's Center, c/o Henson-Novak Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942. The family will be at 621 N.E. 19th St. in Guymon.
