All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Charles Winfield Rogers CLOVIS, N.M. - , 71, formerly of Ranchvale died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, in Amarillo, Texas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Peabody and Rev. Randy Dirrim officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home Inc. Mr. Rogers was born Aug. 17, 1932, in Goodwell, Okla., to Martel and Ethel Pearl Taggart Rogers. He was a Baptist minister and served in the Philippines as a missionary. Survivors include his first wife, Leonora Rogers of Meade, Kan.; his wife, Floretta of Clovis; three sons, Charles William Rogers and Martel Rogers of Meade, and Duane Rogers of Lakeview, Calif.; a sister, Wandalou Journagen of Meade; four stepdaughters, Patricia Harden of Plains, Kan., Barbara Wyckoff of Wellington, Kan., Elizabeth Washburn of Grandfield, Okla., and Katherine Zook of Ashland, Kan.; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Christian Motorcyclists Association, Box 9, Hatfield, AR, or to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
