Alice Wiebe Skidgel

GUYMON, Okla. - Alice Wiebe Skidgel, 76, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998. 

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church, Holly Chapel at 
Perryton, Texas, with the Rev. John Goss officiating. Burial will be in 
Ochiltree Cemetery at Perryton by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of 
Perryton.

Mrs. Skidgel was born in Waka, Texas, and moved to Hardesty in 1948. She 
moved to the Guymon area in 1970 from Hardesty. She was a homemaker and a 
member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Perryton High 
School in 1941 and attended two years of college. 

She married Edgar W. Skidgel in 1946 at Perryton, Texas. He died in 1970.

Survivors include two sons, Howard Skidgel of Perryton and Garland Skidgel 
of Hooker; a daughter, Carolyn Harness of San Diego, Calif.; and four 
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to American Diabetes Foundation, 8808 
Slide Road, Lubbock, TX 79424.
