Dorothy L. Steen

CLAYTON, N.M. - Dorothy L. Steen, 51, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 
by Jack Chosvig. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church with the 
Rev. James McGowan officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral 
Directors.

Mrs. Steen was born Oct. 28, 1953, in Los Alamos to Joe Nestor Miera and 
Cecilia Ulibarri Miera. A 1971 graduate of Clayton High School, she worked 
at the Eklund for a number of years and also worked for IBP in Amarillo, 
Texas, and Seaboard in Guymon, Okla.

Survivors include three daughters, Melinda Montoya of Clayton, Dustie Jo 
Steen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Holly Steen of Corpus Christi, 
Texas; a son, Carlos Montoya of Amarillo; her mother of Clayton; two 
sisters, Mary Ann Padilla of Liberal, Kan., and Jo Anna DeHerrera of 
Albuquerque; and three grandchildren.
