All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :: Stoner, Dorothy Fajen Dorothy Fajen Stoner passed away on Friday, February 28, 2003, in Fairhope, Alabama. She was born on August 4, 1933, in Winfield, Kansas, to Alvin L. and Viola Fajen. 'Dottie' grew up in and graduated from high school in Guymon, Oklahoma. She attended the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha and the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She worked for the Guymon Daily Herald and various other newspapers and trade associations during her career. In 1956, Dottie was married to Paul L. Stoner in Guymon, Oklahoma. They had two sons. She is survived by her son Brad, his wife Angie, and their two children, Aaron and Stephanie, of San Diego, California; her son Scott, his wife Gloria, and their three children, Jordan, Skyler, and Meredith, of Fairhope, Alabama; her brother Don Fajen and his wife, Mary Lou, of Guymon, Oklahoma; and her brother Fred and his wife Sue, of Santa Barbara, California; as well as four nieces and four nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Guymon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sisters of Mercy Hospice, c/o Mercy Medical Development, P.O. Box 1090, Daphne, AL 36526-9987.
