Searcy, 83, died Thursday, July 11, 2002. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Christian Church of Stinnett. Arrangements are by Guardian Funeral Home. Mr. Searcy was a Navy veteran of World War II, a volunteer campground host for the U.S. Forestry in Colorado for 11 years and a Postmaster for 29s years before retiring. Survivors include his wife, Anne; three sons, Stephen Searcy of Stinnett, the Rev. Daniel Searcy of Pueblo, Colo., and Kevin Searcy of Goodwell, Okla.; three daughters, Rachel Anderson of Fort Worth, Jennifer Searcy of Dallas and Aileen Ross of Durham, N.C.; a brother, Cleo Searcy of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
