All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Valley Cemetery--Furley KS Spain, Beverly Jean GUYMON, Okla. - Beverly Jean Spain, 68, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Don Chase officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. in Green Valley Cemetery near Furley, Kan., with Mike Angel, pastor of Emporia, Kan., officiating. Arrangements are by Bunch- Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mrs. Spain was born in Newton, Kan. In 1967, she and her husband moved to Guymon from Fritch, Texas. They founded Spain Electric in 1968, where she remained active until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of First Christian Church. She married Roy R. Spain in 1946 at Douglas, Kan. He died in 1979. Survivors include a daughter, Rickie Watkins of Emporia, Kan.; a son, Jeff Spain of Guymon; a brother, Floyd Long of Benton, Kan.; two sisters, Eunice Humboldt of Mulvane, Kan., and Fern Timmons of Augusta, Kan.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to International Tremor Foundation, which will be accepted at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
